All you have to do is choose a scent, flip your reed weekly and life is bliss.
TOP TIPS
1. CHOOSE A SCENT YOU LOVE. Often people choose diffusers in similar fragrances to what they wear as perfumes. I think this is always a good strategy.
2. FRAGRANCE SUITABILITY. Choose the scent considering where it is to be used. We recommend you don't use citrus diffusers in the bedroom as they tend to be too stimulating so pop these ones in the bathroom as a fresh crisp scent may be more suitable for this area. For a bedroom a more neutral scent in a shared space so try Smoked lavender, Lychee harvest, Berry with vanilla, Sun kissed pear.
3. MIXING SCENTS. Choose a fragrance style and stick to it throughout your home this helps to have multiple diffuser layers all vibing the same throughout your home. An example for the bedroom: go with a diffuser and grab a matching carpet shake and fragrance mist that you can use on your sheets and fabrics. Bathrooms have their own special vibe so it's totally fine to go a different fragrance in these areas.
4. PLACEMENT. Do not place diffusers in direct sunlight or underneath heat pumps. This just accelerates the evaporation time and reduces the life of the diffuser.
5. WARNING .Your diffuser contains oil and fragrances amongst other things... be careful if you turn your sticks, not to drip or spill liquid onto precious furnishings.
NOTE. Sometimes a fragrance which is around us constantly ceases to be recognised by us. This is part of the way our sense of smell and brain work. If you feel your diffuser is not working, put it in an unused room and close the door. Come back in 24 hours and see if you can notice the smell when you walk in.
WHEN IS MY DIFFUSER DONE? If your diffuser is more than 1 year old or the glass is empty it's time for a replacement.
